Apple Cinnamon Oatmeal

Ingredients:

  • ¼ cup Bob’s Red Mill Steel Cut Oats

  • ¼ cup Bob’s Red Mill Maple Sea Salt Granola

  • ½ cup water

  • ¼ cup applesauce 

  • ¼ tsp cinnamon

  • ¼ tsp ground ginger

  • Pinch kosher salt

  • ½ Tbsp salted butter


In a pot over medium heat, melt down the butter. Add the ground ginger and cinnamon to the melted butter and toast for 1-2 minutes until fragrant. Add the Bob’s Red Mill Steel Cut Oats and toast 2-3 minutes. Add the water and applesauce, and stir often until the oats have absorbed the liquid and thickened (about 15 minutes). Be sure to moderate the heat so it doesn’t scorch. Finish with a sprinkle of kosher salt and garnish with the Bob’s Red Mill Maple Sea Salt Granola for a delicious crunch!
