Corn Dogs
Ingredients:
6 Hot Dogs
½ cup Bob’s Red Mill Corn Flour
½ cup Bob’s Red Mill Gluten Free All Purpose Baking Flour
½ cup milk
1 large egg
1 Tbsp yellow mustard
1 tsp baking powder
½ tsp kosher salt
½ tsp paprika
Skewers
Oil for frying
Preheat your preferred frying oil to 350F. Make sure the hot dogs are room temperature before battering and frying. In a large bowl, Combine the Bob’s Red Mill Corn Flour and Gluten Free All Purpose Baking flour with baking powder, salt, and paprika. Next, add in the egg, milk, and mustard. Mix until homogeneous and silky.
Carefully apply pressure to put the hot dogs onto the skewers. Completely coat the hot dogs with the batter. For best thickness, go immediately from the batter into the hot oil so the batter doesn’t drip off.
Cook in the oil for 2-3 minutes until golden brown. Serve with your favorite condiment and enjoy!
