Garlic Alfredo

Garlic Alfredo

Ingredients:

  • 4 Tbsp butter

  • 4 Tbsp gluten free flour

  • 4 cloves of garlic, minced

  • 4 cups heavy cream

  • 5 oz parmesan cheese

  • Salt and pepper to taste

  • 1 package gluten free pasta

In a saucepan, melt down the butter and cook the garlic for 1-2 minutes. Whisk in the flour and cook for two minutes until golden brown. Gradually whisk in the cream, stirring constantly over medium heat. Allow to thicken for several minutes. Turn off the heat and fold in the parmesan, and season to taste.

Bring a separate pot of water to a rolling boil and season with salt. Cook your pasta of choice per the directions on the package. Combine the pasta into the sauce. If the sauce is too thick, add some of the pasta water to thin it out. If desired, finish with more parmesan. Serve hot and enjoy!
